Fuel information from CAN
Monitoring of fuel information from the brain of the car by means of the CAN bus solution is mostly used with passenger cars and vans.
Does fuel control matter?
You probably know even too well, how costly fuel is for the company.
Therefore, if you wish to keep expenses under control, you need to find ways to increase fuel economy!
Based on our 14-year experience, we can say that our customers, who use the Navirec fuel control solution, have reduced their fuel expenses by up to 30%
Fuel information from the car’s brain
CAN bus is an information channel, which is connected to the GPS controller.
It is mostly used for monitoring the vital parameters, such as fuel data, of passenger vehicles and trucks.
Fuel information received from the brain of the vehicle:
- refuel quantity
- consumed fuel quantity
- average fuel consumption of the vehicle
- fuel consumption per work hour
NOTE: Since CAN bus is still a relatively new technology and has no unified standard, it is not supported by all car producers the same way. For this reason, you need our prior confirmation that the service is suitable for your car.
Accurate and clear overview of fuel consumption
Track and compare the fuel consumption of your vehicles
By means of fuel sensors, you can track fuel consumption in the vehicle fleet of your company and compare the average consumption of different vehicles at different times. Compare the driving routes and styles of drivers, and their fuel consumption.
View fuel residue in the tank
The fuel residue and changes in the fuel tank displayed in the Navirec solution allow better planning of driving routes and refueling.
Monitor changes in fuel level
You can also view the specific time of fuel level changes in the tank fuel. On the map, you can view the specific refueling locations and the moments when fuel level has abruptly dropped (technical problem or fuel theft).
Create detailed fuel reports
Compare drivers, vehicles, driving routes and much more in order to make wiser decisions in planning the work and fleet use.
Better planning means more effective work organization and cost savings
